Holiday

Monday is Memorial day and there will be no classes.
Memorial day is a day to remember our service men and women who are now serving and who have served in the past. Especially those who have given their lives to secure our freedoms.
Remember them in your prayers.

Sensei Moricca, Mr. Greven and Vacation

Sensei Moricca and Mr. Greven came to the dojo and watched class last night. They were very impressed with the conduct of the kids in class and were impressed with the abilities of the ranking members of our dojo. They had many compliments about all of you.
Sensei Moricca lives in Fresno California and Mr. Greven lives in Madison Wisconsin.

Saturday May 17th is the state championship tournament in Portland. If you are not competing is would be good for you to go and watch the action.

June 9th through the 13th is vacation week for me and there will be no classes on the 9th and the 11th of June.

The difference between the really good Judoka and the average or so-so Judoka is the amount of time you spend practicing. You don't need to be in the dojo to practice. It is the same with being a good person and a not so good person. You need to practice being kind and loving and it will become a habit for you.

Remember the purpose of Martial Arts is " The developement of the human character and spirit".
Practice hard in all things and you will be successful.
